ROFEX through Bloomberg

Rosario, 20th February – ROFEX and Primary announced today that they have connected their electronic trading platform (Primary Trading Platform, PTP) to the Bloomberg Execution Management System (EMSX) and that the service is already available.

PTP, the trading platform developed by Primary, a ROFEX Group technology company, offers the functionality of an Order Management System (OMS) and pre-trade risk controls for its Brokers, which allow the possibility to offer Direct Market Access (DMA) to its customers.

The connection between PTP and Bloomberg EMSX, as a front for the Primary DMA solution, facilitates the access to the futures and options contracts listed in the Exchange, allowing EMSX users to send and execute bids electronically through the Exchange’s members offering this service.

The Bloomberg EMSX is a multi-asset platform which allows users to send bids to over 6,000 destinations, including algorithms. EMSX integrates news, interest indicators, market analysis and portfolios in real time in an adaptable environment which enables users to analyze and monitor the execution quality and to improve its trading decisions.

“Through this technology, we shall manage to reach a selected group of non-resident customers in order to facilitate their operation in the ROFEX-listed products. We always aim to broaden the front-ends available in our platforms and adapted to the different operators’ needs”, said Ismael Caram, ROFEX Deputy General Manager.
