Visa Information

Citizens of most Western countries can purchase visa at the airport upon arrival. The list is available below, but please verify this information with your local authorities:

You have to pay upon arrival and the best is to bring the exact amount of USD in cash and it is usually 25 USD. If you pay in other currencies the exchange rate is very bad.

On arrival you need to queue first to pay for your visa and then head to the immigration counter. If you already have a visa, then head straight to the immigration counter. (Thus, you might want to consider obtaining a visa before your departure!)

When leaving Indonesia there might be an airport tax in the value of 150,000 Rp/person which must be paid in cash in local currency!
