Our President, Paul Constantinou, has been busy in the past week representing AFM at the 13th World Exchange Congress and the 77th FEAS Working Committee in Oman between 26th February and 2nd March.
At WEC Paul chaired the first afternoon of the conference where highlights included discussions on the possible avenues for New Revenues for exchanges including diversification of services into technology, data and analytics, opportunities for smaller exchanges to increase their revenues and the market changes brought about by recent mergers between exchanges and clearing services.
The FEAS event provided a platform for both organisations to strengthen their relationship with the possibility of future joint projects in the pipeline. Paul also introduced AFM to the FEAS membership many of whom had no previous awareness of our association.
